Art Residency at Maison Les Buis in May 2025
Collective Poem: The moonlight slipped into the dark room through the broken shutters; Waves of vibration; A donkey eats an emerald from my hand, warm and discombobulated; the thick ropes of ivy strangled the trunk of the oak, creating a thick green cloak; Oil trickles down my chin & vines wrap around my ankles; The salt air filled lungs aching for water; A Florida orange melts in my pocket on the train ride from Angoulême.

In the Garden Zine
As an artist, I have primarily worked in solitude. This residency allowed me to challenge myself to collaborate and step outside of my comfort zone. The zine linked above documents my musings and creations during the residency. My time spent at Maison Les Buis, reinforced my belief that creativity is a spiritual act, which is only strengthened by collaboration.
