A Soft Landing Place for the Dreamers
Chez Eden is a projection of my inner creative world, which is based on a personal philosophy:
You don’t need permission or fancy tools to create something beautiful, meaningful, or even ugly and fantastic. You can simply start with what you have.
This is why I primarily work in mixed media art. I’m inspired to process my experiences and tell my stories by using the resources around me, whether that be carving a Linocut stamp, upcycling a pair of jeans, painting and sewing on canvas, or using my camcorder to create a short film.
Exploring my creative visions is deeply cathartic to me, and leads each piece to feel like an explosive and textured diary entry more than a traditional art form.
